My question is whether Icandy cherry pushchair is sutable for n.born? I have seen it and it is very close to being flat however it sais it is good for babies older than 6m.
What is the danger of having a n.born in such pushchair....would it be bossible to get extra padding for n.born...i am not planning to have extra long walks during the first months anyway.
Thank you

you can buy a carrycot for the icandy cherry, which just clicks onto the frame.

I know about the carrycot, but since I do not drive I need something more like pushchair that is light, however i would not risk the health of my baby. I have seen some extra paddings sold that can be fitted for n.borns.
Any opinions if i could use cherry pram with extra padding for n.born?

I have the Cherry and love it, but I would not use the pushchair for a newborn. My DD was more than 5 months when we first put her in the pushchair part, and it was really big for her even at that stage. Even with the bottom part of the footmuff fleece on to pad it out, it really didn't look good for a newborn. I would get the carrycot - as I said, we used it for over 5 months and only changed to the pushchair at that point because my DD was obsessed with rolling and kept lying on her stomach with her head popped out the top as if she was chariot racing . If it hadn't been for that, she would have fitted in it for a good while longer (although she's not big - 25th centile).

I've decided to go for the Mamas and Papas Sola because much as I love the iCandy Cherry I didn't really want to have to have a carrycot as well as a pushchair. The Sola is incredibly similar in size, weight and price but the pushchair seat genuinely lies flat and can be used for a newborn if you get a footmuff or other cosy insert.

I have used the cherry with the footmuff for DS since he was about 12 weeks. He hates being in the carrycot because he is so nosy. With the extra padding of the footmuff he is really cosy in the seat. I use it on the first recline position and without the shoulder straps.

That said he doesn't go in it that often as DD (2.9) still wants to get in so DS is often in the sling.
