Help with mamas & papas

My daughter is one and i switched from a mpx system sold it to buy a maclaren xt thinking i wanted to downsize .. well i dont wanna downside now!!!! i want my 'big' pram back..

My problem is that i dont want to pay a couple of hundred pounds for it because she is one now am i being silly to want to buy such a big pram for a one year old??

I looked at the switch but thats no good as i need a stronger basket ;-(

What are your thoughts???

not at all silly. I used a big pram for ds1 and ds2 until they were much older than 1.

why not have a look on ebay, or on the pushchair section in for sale on here to see if you can pick one up cheaper?

I agree with the last post, I have looked at various prams recently and my ds is 1 tomorrow but really like my xts twister, we actually had to get a maclaren for car use but I hate using it so am still considering getting a nipper 360 that I can use instead.

What about the Silver Cross Linear Freeway? I used mine till DD arrived when DS was 20 months.
I think they might go for a bit cheaper on ebay.

oh fab idea , year ago a friend i knew had a mamas and papas buggy A2 or something i cant seemed to find it I would love that in all black or those freestyler buggies but i dont think they make them , I will look at that silver cross buggy now ;-)

BTFA, are you considering any more DCs? If so, maybe a P&T that you could convert into a double at a later stage? Just a thought...
