Hi, trying to find a good sturdy but lightweight stroller to take with me on holidays and also in the car for occasional shopping. My DS is 9,5 m.o. We have Quinny travel system which is great but a bit bulky when yoiu try to attempt tesco shopping and car boot is not huge so the pushchair takes all the space.
I really need something that moves easily when I am out and about in town, sturdy but light with good shopping basket and lots of room for my DS, he is on tall side, that also folds easily. My DH even now cant remember how to put the Quinny down or take the seat out!! who said men are multitask Don't want to spend a fortune up to £100 and maybe a bit more.
so any suggestions wise ladies? thankx x

i'd get a maclaren quest, i love maclarens they last forever! xt and xlr have more features/padding but they are bigger and heavier. the quest is nice and light and very easy to push perfect for shopping. As long as you or DH aren't v.tall it would be perfect buggy.

Obaby Atlas! I've just got one - had loads of pushchairs but by far the best so far. Takes up much less room in my boot than other strollers but nice big seat for my 2.5 year old. You can get a bargain on a new one on ebay!!

IMO strollers are fine for a first child once you have an older child and need to hold their hand because of roads etc they are a nightmare to push.
For this reaon I now have a micralite fastfold,
Folds small, very lightweight, still used by my 3.10 yo ( he has asthma and tires easily, in case you were wondering)
And steers easily single handed

maclaren volo are the best and cheap as chips! pluss you can get the comfort pack and footmuff and its great for when you get back to this weather, small, very light with carry strap that you can sling on your shoulder!! well made and very nice to push.
