Is Maclaren no good for you then?

capstock · 30/11/2009 20:11

I mean, assume you have already tried that?

finbin · 30/11/2009 20:12

We've got a MacClaren Quest and DD who is a very tall 3.9 year old at around 110cm tall still fits in it. Only use it rarely now, but think she could easily still have a snooze in it if the fancy took her.

M&P Ziko is quite tall, might be worth a look? looks like they might be discontinued from M&P though.

i have one, it's a brilliant buggy

sorry hope someone more helpful than me will be along in a minute!

I have the same issue!! My dd is really tall and now 2.5 years but will need a buggy for a while longer as she has low muscle tone.

The best one I had length ways was the Chicco Multiway - massive seat but straps were too short to go around dd so had to sell it(have since found out you can get replacements though!). My ancient Maclaren Techno XT is still the best so am thinking I will have to just get the updated model as I can't find anything else better - just soooo expensive!!!

dinkystinky · 02/12/2009 20:57

maclaren techno xlr - can fit my 3,5 year old in there for a nap (he has a little baby brother who we normally use it for) and reclines all way back as needed.

A babydan stockholm. Bigger and better than Maclaren. Bad news: it's discontinued. Good news : there's a seller of the last few letting them go at a bargain price on ebay. . The catch? The last few are an interesting striped colourway. . It is a really good buggy for a bigger child though.

Scottie22 · 04/12/2009 20:06

I have a Babydan Stockholm - is a good pushchair for the price on ebay definitely! I struggle with it though as weights on back wheels make it hard to do kerbs and front wheels do 'their own thing' quite frequently! I've just gone for an Obaby Atlas - has a good size seat and also a bargain price on ebay!! Hope this one does the trick or my OH will never talk to me again....

I used the Quinny Zapp till DS1 was over 3.5 years, and he's tall. Only quit because I was pregnant and felt that DS1 needed to start to used to walking moderate distances.

LullayMyLiking · 05/12/2009 05:46

Oh yes, quinny zapp is a good size too. It also has a weight limit of 20kg which is higher than most buggies so can take a larger child. I used it with my large 4y old no problem. It's so easy to push too. The harness is generous and very posh too. Love the zapp!

nicolamumof3wisemen · 05/12/2009 06:55

Maclaren XLR, i have one for DS3 who's 2.4yr, but occasionally DS2 3.11yr has used it and most importantly its very easy to push with him in it!!

LullayMyLiking · 05/12/2009 07:00

Of course the zapp doesn't lay back, so depends if your dc will nap upright.
