Well i've managed to get the short list down to these two. (thought i'd settled on vigour!) they box tick all the boxes except with the mychoice the utterly pointless looking basket underneath! what do you think? have you got either of these? wanting to get complete travel system so will be using with car seat. all input very welcome!!

I have the britax vigour 3 + and I love it. Just have the pushchair though. I't's great as it lies flat and can face either way. I would definitely recommend it.

The britax babysafe sleeper (I think?) is a car seat and carrycot and is a Which? Best Buy - definitely a good choice I would say.

i like that one but pretty sure it doesn't fit in my car, have deep seats

The Babysafe sleeper is tiny - I saw someone with one at toddlers when DS2 was only about 8 weeks old, and he was too big for it. But the Babysafe seat is great. I had a Vigour for a while, I loved it. {smile]

Oh, wow, I didn't realise that, Mac. How annoying!

tiggsy · 30/11/2009 19:14

i like the new baby safe shr which has a button on the handle so you can just lift it off the frame one handed (single-handed release) and it has side impact thingies and stuff, which my beloved old car doesn't have!

We have the Vigour 3 + and I love it. I think we're the only people from my baby friends who have not got fed up with their first pushchair and replaced it with something else. Btw, what colour are you getting? We have an unused teal blue carrycot that I'm trying to get rid of before number two!

I too have the Britax vigour 3+ and I'm fairly happy with it. My main problem with it is the bloody raincover. It's massive and doesn't fold down very much. It takes up all of the basket, and while I'm talking about the basket I've lost so much stuff out of it.
Otherwise it's ok. The only reason I didn't buy a Bugaboo is that absolutely everyone round here has got one.

Forgot to add:-The travel system is good as you don't need to faff about with adaptors.

titfertat · 05/12/2009 20:48

I've got the Britax 3+ and love it. I've tried quite a few travel systems and none of them are perfect but the Britax is definitely my favourite. The 2009 version is even better as the pushchair is now suitable from birth so you don't need to buy the separate carrycot if you don't want to.
