Lightweight stroller for 2.5 year old??

Does anyone know of a lightweight umbrella fold stroller that would fit a tall 2.5 year old?? My dd walks a lot now but tires easily so we do still need a pushchair for longer distances. I just need something cheap but with a good size seat!

Thanks

I changed to a BJCM at this age because my Mclaren Volo was too difficult to steer with weight of DS! This might be beyond your budget though as these seem to have increased in price rather than decreased.

Cosatto diablo. They have have a huge seat and my four year old sits in it sometimes and looks comfy. Loads for sale on ebay. I may have one coming up for sale on the sales boards soon.

I had a cosatto diablo and found it really hard to push with my 3 year old in it.

I would go for Obaby (as long as it's not the circles one - doesn't steer too well) or the M&P Nipi.

Ds2 is only just 3, but he's bigger than some of the 5yo in the Reception class of dd's school. I got a Chicco Multiway. Not cheap, and not lightweight, but the biggest umbrellafold I have found. Seat goes almost completely flat, and is wide enough and long enough for ds to sleep comfortably in it - very iportant for us as his nap now clashes with the school run.

Poss cheaper on Ebay?

look for a mac xlr on ebay, not the cheapest but built to last, good resale and fab size seat.

Thanks for your helpful replies

Prettycandles - I had a Chicco Multiway which ticked all the boxes except for the straps which wouldn't go around dd as they are so short! Sold it and then discovered you could get replacements grrr

Food for thought on the others though so will get looking on ebay!

You can get replacements? I didn't know that, either! Where?

Prettycandles - I think you can contact Chicco - apparently the UK models were made with particularly short straps! So frustrating - I would probably have kept hold of it otherwise...

Now why didn't that occur to me?!

Added to my To Do list.

Thanks
