hi, I'm going to buy a new pushchair and was thinking about getting the Silvercross Fizz in humbug what's it like

I'm 5 foot 3 so handle height doesn;t have to be really high or anything

What's it like to push, fold etc

I am between this and a Dazzle or a cosatto Swift lite...decisions decisions lol

It's rubbish, really flimsy, strap recline is a totaly waste of time. I bought one in this colour way but found it too low (but I am 5 foot 8) difficult to push and had no more recline than my volo (which I loved). I love silver cross and loved the dazzle but you will prob find it too high for you. How old is your dc? I love the black maclaren xt, can still push one handed with my lump of a dd in it if it'sraining whilst loaded with shopping and me holding a brolly

ooh thanks will give the Fizz a miss then!

ds is 14 months and quite chunky

am also watching a cosatto swift lite, would love an Xt but can't afford one at the mo and the cosatto seems to be the same just cheaper

The silver cross pop has almost the same spec as XT (have had 2 of those) I sold mine to another mnetter I think for about 50 quid. Handles are high though again if you are a shortie There is an ebay seller Bradford somthing that sells ex-display ones cheaply or if you can get a local pick up? I love maclaren so the quest would be good, good height (too low for me!) easy to push etc??

whichwitchisthis · 17/11/2009 11:46

yeah I was thinking about a Quest, someone on here was selling one the other day but she seems to have gone now

thanks II've been looking at the Pops too, any thoughts on the Ziko or Frankies? with the newer fixed harness of course

Dazzles have really high handles so probably not much good if you are 5ft 3.

whichwitchisthis · 17/11/2009 11:57

thanks I'll give the dazzle a miss then, I'm selling an m and p cybex callisto cos the handle is just too high for me so probably not a great idea to get one with high handles again

just looked at the Frankie now it seems quite heavy compared to the Quest so I think it;s between that, the cosatto or the Pop now

Unless anyone can recommend another umbrella stroller that's good

Yep, had ziko frankie, loved it very similar to the pop but again handles are high for you. Quest I would say better (had 3 of them!!) I'm a poushchair addict but at least now have prams sorted for next baby!!

whichwitchisthis · 17/11/2009 12:06

lol thanks carrielou I've had a fair few too this would be my 5th for baby 3 so far

the handles on the Ziko are they about the same height as the handles on the zapp cos they were spot on for me

mac quest is fab, i had two pops and hated them both, just didn't push as nice as a mac, my fave strollers would be maclaren quest, maclaren xt or ziko frankie.

whichwitchisthis · 17/11/2009 13:38

ooh thanks nicolamumof3 would you say that the Ziko's handles are a lot higher than the quest's?

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 17/11/2009 14:00

i had one ages ago, they are higher but not alot, im 5'3 and don't mind either low or high handles as i've been fine with the quest and xt.

whichwitchisthis · 17/11/2009 14:27

ooh thanks right better get looking on ebay

I'm 5'3 too and i have the xt and a frankie and love them both and find the handles very comfortable. The quest is really comfy and probably the easiest to push IMO
