a teutonia? we have the spirit s3 and love it but there are other models on ebay at the minute and they make their own buggy board. the handle is also long so the child on bb can fit under the handle.

BertieBotts · 14/11/2009 21:54

Would recommend the Loola Up (though it is quite wide - not sure how wide compared to Quinny)

enimod · 15/11/2009 11:10

hi- is anyone selling a loola up or similar? thank you

OP posts:
IsItMeOr · 15/11/2009 11:29

We have the loola up too - I think it is similar width to Dreami. I like it, and not yet finished with it I'm afraid!

Often available second hand on ebay iirc.

sazm · 15/11/2009 21:35

i had an rversus and iliked it,but its really no good on rough terrain,
i have a buzz and like it but yes it is wide,

i also have a loola up,which i like,a lascal buggy board fits it well also,

i would sell mine for £150

[email protected] if you were interested, its brand new and comes with a brand new raincover and hood (hood retails at £49.99)

lukeysmummy · 15/11/2009 21:49

charliebrownsmum · 15/11/2009 22:39

hiya
i have an oxygen red loola with changing bag that attaches to the pushchair, in ex condition. looking for 80 plus post.
xx

charliebrownsmum · 15/11/2009 22:41

just saw that you're looking for a buggy board, i have a lascal 3g maxi with uncut straps and extender kit & instructions, ex condition, looking for £30 so if you wanted my loola too it would be 110 plus post.

FluffyPumpkins · 15/11/2009 22:44

pilko prammette (m&p)
this is what we have its reversable, light and has steps at back that a toddler can stand on.

CarGirl · 15/11/2009 22:46

sounds like you need a proper 3 wheeler like a mountain buggy with carrycot tbh

sazm · 15/11/2009 22:53

how rough is the terrain you need it to go over as a loola wouldnt go over very rough ground, fine for a bumpy path, but not for off roading,
if you need it to do off-roading maybe a mothercare quantum would be good they are about £130 new on ebay,

IsItMeOr · 16/11/2009 08:17

Loola up fine for bumpy paths, but definitely not an off-roader. Fwiw, the only difference that I could find between loola and loola up is that loola up has a single handle, so you can push one-handed, although the weight means this isn't something I'd want to do for a long period.

Might be worth a look at the Britax vigour which I recall had similar functionality, but does come in a 3-wheeler version.

The reason we preferred the Loola up is that it folds in 2 directions, so is much smaller to put into car boot, which we do quite a lot. Also is compatible with the ubiquitous Maxi Cosi Cabriofix with some adaptors which you can get for a tenner.

Hope that helps.

enimod · 16/11/2009 13:36

thank you for all the replies- i am really puzzled now over what to get!! i have just been offered a loola for 50 pounds off ebay but it comes with 2 seats? is that normal- the advert had no photos?? i had looked at the quantum when it was on offer at nurseryvalue but thought it might be a bit bulky? should i go for the 50 pound loola??

OP posts:
enimod · 16/11/2009 13:52

well i took the plunge and bought one off ebay- now does anyone have the adapters for the loola so the maxi cosi cabriofix can fit it?

IsItMeOr · 16/11/2009 16:38

you should be able to find some new for about £10 - we bought ours off the internet, but might be worth asking in John Lewis or Mothercare as they both stock loola?

babydrip · 16/11/2009 22:26

Hi
I brought the new britax vigour 3+ from Kiddicare, fab! can face both ways, suitable from birth as lays flat (not a bucket seat where have to recline whole unit, back reclines and foot extension part) imo nice and lightweight, huge hood!, seat quiet long but whole unit not too wide, turns on a sixpence!
love it!

basl · 18/11/2009 14:54

hi may i ask babydrip if you think this would be suitable for an 18mth old till say three years
thanks.

babydrip · 19/11/2009 21:56

hi basl
it states it recommended from birth to 4 yrs of age.
I would say looking at the size of it yes!
the hood is soooo huge and deep.
once child is older and 'wants' to be facing away from the parent if you have the leg/foot extended down the front wheel has like a little footplate (which the older version doesnt and also the seat in that version is sim to the infinity) so I would say there's lots of room the whole seat unit appears much longer than others ive seen.
Have a look on the kiddicare website and you'll see what i mean....i have the 3+ wheeler version but they do do a 4+ wheeler version.
hth
anymore questions im happy to try and help with
love
Tracey
