Differences between vigour 3 & 3+

Have just got a vigour 3 which my mum's going to use. Really like it but wondered about getting a vigour 3+ for me because it looks like the seat unit clicks on far more easily. I know the tyres are different but are they any good on the 3+ as they're not air? Any other differences? Does 3+ fold with seat unit on? TIA!

Can only help a bit, I have the Vigour 3 but I now have the 3+ wheels as I had a problem with my front Pneumatic wheel, I am sure it was that DH over inflated it though. I will be honest and say I prefer the air wheels but there is little difference between them.

The 3+ is alot easier to click on and off but once you get the nack the 3 really does not take long. You can fold with the seat unit on but it is huge.

If I could afford it I would buy the newest version of this with out a doubt as they seem to have corrected the things that annoy me, ie the hood size is much bigger on the new ones and also it lies flat for a new born.

HTH a little

Hi
My friend has the 'older version' britax vigour 3 and i brought the new version britax vigour 3+ from kiddicare.
Main differences are (which now she is seriously considering getting the + version)
seat unit is longer
seat unit is NOT a complete bucket type unit - you can recline the back to lay flat and the leg estension bit can also be up or down iyswim.
the hood is much bigger, deeper and longer!
much easier to click unit on/off
wheels are not air and are very easy to manovure
the brake (apparently from the demonstrator is specially made for 'summer / sandel footwear!) is very easy to put on/off without hurting your foot! can even do it bear foot!
has a lovely warm apron (this will also fit the older version)
i have notice pple have said they find this heavy, i cant say i have, find it very very light to push etc and ive just had surgery!
even to lift (not that i am at the mo) it is still very light.
i cant think of anymore differences at the mo but will keep thinking, if you have any questions let me know
oh age says birth to 4yrs of age
thankyou for reading
love

oh, great, thanks for that babydrip, very helpful! I've just given the vigour 3 to my mum to have (she's got arthritis so thought the air tyres would be helpful for her). I wonder if the 3+ would fit my 3yo a bit more as his head's touching the hood of the vigour 3. He fits into it otherwise quite well.

coolkat/babydrip, do either of you use a buggy board? I was thinking this could be my main buggy when the dt's are older and just have a buggy board. I'm desperate to do away with double buggies at some point! Can't find any info about it so far.

hi
no problems, your 3yr old will have plenty of head room with the 3+ the hoods huge! our lo sleeps in it in the day for her nap and its like she's in a little cave! lol!
the seat does appear longer but not sure if its slightly narrower (we havent measured it...cud be an optical allusion!)
My friend used a buggy board with her vigour 3 and i am thinking of using one with my 3+ so yes know you can use one....
as said ive just had surgery and find it so light and easy to use.
oh the reclince is very easy to use and smooth as well
hth
