Just a quick question re: icandy Cherry

Does anyone know if the cherry will fit in the boot of Ford KA and if the suspension is suitable for longish, pavement/park walks?

don't know about the boot, don't have a car, but have had mine for 8 mths and it's fine for pavement/park walks, and I walk a lot.
It's v light so not the sturdiest pram, but I've loved it.

Only thing is it's not an 'umbrella fold' so you have to detach pushchair/pram bit and then fold the chassis to put it in the car. (Though my Dad has a big 4x4 and he just puts the whole thing unfolded in his boot!) Might be a bit of a pain if you have to do it several times a day. Though it's compatible with the maxi cosi car seat, so you could use that on days where you'd be in and out of the car. HTH.

Thanks, that's great. I'm used to having a pram for walking with my other 2. This time I have a car but don't want to give up the comfort of a "proper pram", if you know what I mean.

I loved my icandy cherry. Was so light and easy to push, and came apart really easily when putting it into the car. I think it would fit in most car boots tbh.

A couple of words of warning tho: it is compatible with the maxi cosi car seat but was really fiddly to get the car seat off the chassis; also, don't take it on the beach - the sand clogged up the lovely smooth wheels, and DH had to take them apart to get fix them... (Well, it was his idea to take it on the beach in the first place)

Apart from that it's a lovely pram, and I miss it!

that's a good tip about the sand in the wheels fatsatsuma, will stay off the sand. but tbh dont' find it a faff to get the car seat off the chassis...

Oh!! I should have asked. Are the covers removable and washable?

I was never sure I was actually doing the car seat removal right. It always seemed to involve me contorting myself into awkward positions, needing a third hand and in the end asking passers-by to help me. Was probably doing it wrong all along...

I'm pretty sure everything is removable and washable. I recently passed mine onto a friend having moved onto an umbrella-fold, and washed various bits and it looked brand new.

having said that it's easy to take the car seat off, next time I bet I'll be contorting myself and asking passers by to help....!

I am 10 weeks and 4 days with my second and absolutely love the icandy cherry but did not know much about it.

Is it quick to detatch and attatch the seat unit?

Not to worried about having to do that as I walk mostly, and partner can do it for me when we travel by car lol.

Oh and what sort of price am I looking at for the pushchair, carrycot and accessories?

congrats jester! I find it quite quick to detach, just press 2 buttons simultaneously and lift it up.

I paid £372 for chassis, pram + pushchair attachments plus raincovers, also found car seat adaptors in box but think you usually have to pay extra.

I didn't get umbrella (you probably know already they're useless) or footmuff (eyewateringly expensive - I got plain black one from boots for £20)
