When you come out of Paypal do you get a page of offers?
I get it and several companies give cash back or paypal gives it I'm not sure. You have to link through that page.....I'll try and get a link.

FlyMeToDunoon · 16/09/2009 15:10

www.paypal-offers.co.uk/displayMerchant.do?mid=17702&aid=8&currentTab=merchant&type=-1&subty pe=-1
bit of a crap 3% only.

Balamorybaby · 16/09/2009 15:44

I've never seen any discount codes but you get 4% back via QUIDCO when you buy from Kiddicare.

I picked up a lovely Black Double Nipper 360 yesterday for the DT's, it's only 6months old and in FAB condition. I really don't need 5 pushchairs for them though so really must start selling some now instead of buying more

Haven't road tested it yet though so won't make any decisions about what's staying/going until I do

nicolamumof3 · 16/09/2009 16:22

i was thinking i need a double nipper today, its hard work when Tates ill he just won't walk.

Nope sk, it was 6-9 months.

scattykatty · 16/09/2009 21:16

Oh good, I was feeling really bad, I just saw it with 2 mins to go and bid, didn't think I'd win though! Ebay can be so funny, I missed a cord duffle a few days ago and was so sad

maxybrown · 17/09/2009 07:51

Morning! Where is everyone? It's been so quiet of late.

BexieID · 17/09/2009 08:10

I'm only up as Toms new car bed has just been delivered!

BexieID · 17/09/2009 08:15

That makes me sound like a bad mum, lol. Tom is still asleep as i'm working on us both being up earlier now he's at nursery, so it used to be that he was up at 9:30 and have now got it to 8:30. I've been up since 7:40 when the guys came with the bed, although they are still outside as have problems getting their rear door open!

scattykatty · 17/09/2009 08:42

Well I've been up for hours waiting for the window cleaner, I know he's not coming til 9, but I don't want to be a commplete, half asleep mess when he knocks on the door!

Do you think I should email an ebay seller for a 3rd time after I bought something 2 weeks ago, emailed them straight after to say hi and that I had instantly paid, waited til yesterday morning and said them another polite email saying could they just let me know if they have sent it. Nothing. To either email! I checked and they have a lot of feedback saying they don't send til you open a paypal dispute something I've never done.

I really don't think they will send it unless I keep on but I don't want to be annoying, just get what I paid for. 2 things I bought on the same day arrived 10 days ago!

nicolamumof3 · 17/09/2009 08:43

Bexie you're so lucky! what time does he go to bed?

im feeling awful today, much worse and im exhausted, didn't get to sleep til gone two am, my throat was so sore

Morning all

Lots to catch up on, my laptop is officially kaput and my work dongle never works in the evenings I suppose as it is just such a busy time.

We're off to Haven tomorrow (one of the sun cheapo holidays) in Weymouth so not too far from us. Hopefully the weather will hold, lovely sunshine but windy here. Dry though which is all I want!!

I've just scrubbed the xt with vanish and a nail brush and it has brought it up like new. Really have loved the black one though it does show up every blessed mark!!

maxybrown · 17/09/2009 09:24

Ooh poor you Nicola - did you get a bottle of glycerin? It's very cheap from chemist but very soothing.

SK, yes keep on at them, due to their previous FB, seems that is what they are like!

BexieID · 17/09/2009 09:24

nicola, last night it was 10pm by the time he went to bed . It's usually 9pm though and hes asleep straight away. Bit later on weds/sat nights as it's bath night. Will have to get him to bed earlier as well though. Only problem is that he eats better with other people eating, and we don't have dinner till 6-6:30pm.

carrie, went to Weymouth sea-life centre in July, was good. Was a tad that the beach was part shingle/sand though, but Tom enjoyed it anyway.

maxybrown · 17/09/2009 09:34

Bexie my DS goes to bed about 9/9.30 too, BUT that is because he only sleeos for 9 hours - have tried and tested it!! So obviously putting him to bed at 7 would be horrific!!

FlyMeToDunoon · 17/09/2009 09:50

Morning.
Honey and lemon Nicola! Works for me.
Scatty I would email them threatening a a paypal dispute or ebay non-delivery of item thing. Watch how long you leave it as there is a time limit. It's quite long I seem to remember but could catch you out. Bu*rs!

maxybrown · 17/09/2009 09:57

...........with a bit of whisky in

nicolamumof3 · 17/09/2009 10:57

i've got honey, lemon and glycerin, terry thinks its tosilitis im back sat on the bed now while he takes the boys out of my dads way as the decorating continues.

SK deffo open a dispute, as it takes ages, i bought something on 13th Aug which never arrived and still waiting for my refund even tho pp found in my favour on Sunday said refund may take 14 days.

I like my boys in bed early and they've always slept 7-7 its just since luka's gone into a bed. tbh i wouldn't mind keeping him up til 9pm if it meant he slept through completely til 7pm. But tate is shattered come 7pm. He has always slept 12hrs.

OP posts:
maxybrown · 17/09/2009 11:01

Ooh 12 hours I wish! James would go to bed at 7 but I can tell you he will be wide awake and full of beans at 4 ish......urgh. So it is the lesser of 2 evils. Apparently my Mum says he slept more than I ever did It can make for hard evenings though as very little time for us

Ooh tonsilitis. You been docs? makes sense with you feeling so lousy.

SK, have you finished flirting with the window cleaner? do you want a pic of these Thomas wellies?

carrielou2007 · 17/09/2009 11:28

Dd is a monkey sleeper, since about 18 months 7pm bedtime has gotten later and later. I aim to get her in bed for 8pm but she is rarely aslepp before 9pm, she never has a sleep in the day now and I struggle to get showered and hair done etc by 7am when she's up!

Last night she was still shouting down at me at 9.30pm but still up this morning at 6.45am. I'm not a good sleeper and have always been an early bird so maybe she is like me (poor child!!)

Nicola you can get a throat spray that will numb the back of your throat (tis fab for tonsilitis) but only if you know it is that or it could mask the symptons??

Just off having hair highlighted, just had nails (fingers and toes with nail art as a treat) done, pamper day today .
