Or more specificaly, the carseat bit. Anyone have one, and if so - how do you rate it?

My friend has one of these and the carseat is awful (they don't have a car so not a problem as they have another carseat they use if ever - just bought them together as a set second hand)

It's really shallow and has next to no side-impact protection. (Side impacts are the most common type of impact) The padding is really thin as well so it seems uncomfortable. And the last thing I found a bit weird was that it doesn't seem to state the upper weight limit anywhere on the seat itself (though it may be on a sticker the previous owner removed or something) The only good thing about it is it provides a more laid-back position when on the travel system than the lowest recline setting.
