First pushchair/pram - anyone got thoughts/info on M & P Switch?

I really haven't got a clue what to buy - it's early days but having had a first look it appears to be a minefield. Quite like the look of the M & P Switch as I like the idea of dual facing pushchair. Anyone got any knowledge or suggest a fabby dozy pram/travel system??

i have a switch for sale...i think its a great pram, ideal for everything, i just dont like 2 handles lol...great in rear facing mode as the seat is relatively high ad is straight up too so child sits properly, easy to take the seat off ad put on say a carrycot from an ultima set or the PV car seats from M&P...really is lovely...

I am on my third pram! Definitely go for dual facing, there are plenty to choose from. I personally prefer the linked handle as think means you can easily steer with one hand which makes life so much easier. Have a look at the pushchair reviews on here. Off the top of my head the Loola, Quinny Buzz, Bugaboo, Mutsy 4Rider, Britax Vigour all face either way. If you walk anywhere that's off road get a pram with larger wheels. Handle height was an issue for me. Only 5'8" but many handles are quite low and soon gave me back ache. Most systems let you clip car seats directly to the frame for ease, but I found that in practice I would rather put my baby in the pram as she never stayed asleep when I tried to move her. I bought the 4Rider and I love it but its heavy. Bugaboos are great if you want to spend the money. Lots of people are really raving about the Britax Vigour system and they are reasonably priced. Quinny Buzz is popular as always. Go and try loads including putting them up,folding them down, picking it up and push them around a bit and don't get too carried away in the first shop - it has cost me a fortune! happy shopping.x

It is a minefield and I remember how confused I was when I was choosing mine earlier this year. Make a checklist of your priorities that is the only thing that will shorten your list and lessen your headaches. For my tuppence worth I am thrilled with my final choice and would recommend it to anyone. my must haves were basically
-reversible
-good on rough terrain
-easy to fling in and out of car
-adaptable for use with a long distance lie flat car seat as well as normal sit up one

• good looking

I chose the Britax Vigour 3+ which does all the above and is easily manoeuvrable with one finger. It's not too big for narrow shops either. big thumbs up from me!
