Renault Clio - what pushchair fits in the boot? Help!

Renault Clio owners - What pushchair do you have that fits in the boot? Do you like your pushchair, what are the good and bad features?

I'm looking for a small compact folding, easy fold and unfold, light pushchair to keep in the boot of my Clio. Any experiences / advice welcome!

i've had a big mamas and papas jobby in mine for dd, and a bugaboo bee for this one. also had an m&p stroller in it.

How does the bugaboo bee fit - does it go in diagonally or does it lie flat?

Bee is out! DD is nearly 2 and reviews say it is too small for older toddlers.

the clio boot isn't that small, most will fit, i'm surprised you're struggling! go to mothercare, they'll try them in your boot.

i fit all sorts in my boot but reading your post it sounds like you want a to use the boot space for something more than just a buggy!

Ive easily had a loola and windoo in there, bugaboo frog with carrycot etc. In terms of small and compact there is the zapp and zia. Others will probably suggest strollers like the maclaren but i hate trying to fit them in diagonally (it is my pet hate) as you can never remember the exact angle and end up faffing.

the loola although long didnt need to go in diagonally so if you check the length of that and looking for strollers with a folded length that is no bigger you should be ok.

Also try mothercare like ruddynorah says and then hunt around for a bargain if you don't want to pay their prices

I have a beetle which has an impossible boot - and I have a zapp - leaves loads of space left over for shopping. I much prefer it to our maclaren even though it doesn't recline - i just don't use it if it's around ds's nap time! Can also use from newborn with maxicosi car seat attachment.

You are right, there is more to this!

I have had a bit of a pushchair obsession for a while (have 5 at the mo) but did have the perfect boot stroller (bebecar vit) until I got the clio - vit is too long for the boot although very light and compact in other ways, it was lovely easy steer with one hand, perfect for nipping into shops etc. I do have an old umbrella folding one which does fit but is so rickety I was planning to get rid of it anyway. The others are too big.

As DD is nearly 2 and probably our last DC this will be my last pushchair purchase so I suppose I wanted something a bit different / special

Thanks for all the help, looking into the Bee made me think about what I wanted from the pushchair, I'm thinking about getting the babystyle oyster.

In my Clio I could fit (not at the one time)

a huge Graco travel system thing (had to remove parcel shelf
a Maclaren Techno XT (easy with space left over and parcel shelf
a M&P Twin Aria
a Grace Stadium Duo tandem twin

so quite a big boot really

My recommendation would be a Maclaren Techno XT, easy to fold, good to push, roomy for DC, wheels not too small and you will have room left over
