M and P pramette in pram position - saggy, baggy, slope-y, anyone else had this prob?

Hi,

I'm re-using my pramette which I bought in 2006 for my 2nd dd, now 7 weeks. Had it in buggy mode for dd1, until we switched to sthg lighter, and got out and put in pram mode again for new baby. It's not flat at all: slopes down towards the head end, has a big dip in it, and sags towards the middle. DD not happy or comfy in it; I'm propping her up with loads of blankets.

Am thinking of just getting rid and getting a Maclaren on ebay, but just wondered if anyone else had experienced the same, or can tell me that we've set it up wrong and how to fix it.

Thanks

Did you zip it over the bumper bar when making it back into pram mode? You probably have done as done it before but I didn't realise the first time I had a play with one and baby nearly slipped out the back

Think so: will double check.

Any other ideas?

What's the pramliner?
I have just borrowed a M+P mpx(is that right?) with carrycot attachment from my friend. It came with a grey stripy piece of material, that looked like a matress cover, but it doesn't fit over the matress. Does this go over the plastic holey bits on the base of the cot?

Dont think you use it with carrycot though.

The pram bit on the pramette should be fully zipped up to the pushcahir bit.

The best advice I can give you is to take it to a M&P shop and get them to show/explain to you, we had to take our 3 or 4 times til we got the hand of it, as the instructions were so crap
