nicolamumof3 · 26/08/2009 21:00

i like the red duffle too. i got a lovely red duffle from next off ebay last year for tate should do for luka last year, and a lovely bright orange one in next sale last year for Tate should still fit him again this year, and he's got a woolly camel duffle one with bright green lining. and a couple of snowsuits for luka. im prepared!!

nicolamumof3 · 26/08/2009 21:00

am i the only one here??!

5inthebed · 26/08/2009 21:00

I'm going to town tomorrow anyway, and they have a great Regatta shop in the market that sells them quite reasonable. Will look there.

I had a gorgeous Monsoon one in 12-18 which I wish I had kept a hold of now

5inthebed · 26/08/2009 21:01

I also had a red duffle one from Tescos, it only cost £5 in the sale, was reduced from £25. Had I known I was going to have another child, I would have kept them.

FlyMeToDunoon · 26/08/2009 21:02

I might get this one for DD2

nicolamumof3 · 26/08/2009 21:05

That looks nice and cosy dunoon, i like the longer length ones i have one like that for myself! in brown tho

tell me about it 5in i had loads of lovely stuff for tom he had a lovely timberland coat that i got rid of and lovely stuff from fat face i gave it all away!!

5inthebed · 26/08/2009 21:08

Thats lovely.

Have you seen this scarf set? I love it! I shuld really stay away from the Next site.

maxybrown · 26/08/2009 21:11

Nic, snack trap thingies arrived today, thanking you!!

I HATE looking for coats, because I actually quite like them and can never find something I like..sad I know. I don't even really like the Boden coats. Have Gap red puffa for this year though but want a duffle coat...and have jojo all in one coming . Last year DS practically livd in that as so easy for him to move in!

FlyMeToDunoon · 26/08/2009 21:11

A longer coat is good for walking to school in winter. Short jackets just let them get soaked when it rains too.
I have a similar age gap between DD1 and DD2 as your two oldest Nicola and I got rid of everything eventually when we were moving house once as I thought I might never have any more children.
I am getting into the stuff I began to save when pg and when DD2 was just born. It's been saved for 5 years! Got most school uniform Hurrah!

nicolamumof3 · 26/08/2009 21:14

thats nice 5in i like that!

theres a nice one in sainsburys magazine i want does anybody get 'fresh ideas' magazine from sainsburys sent to them. its in there can't decide whether its worth trip to tunbridge wells to look for it our sainsburys doesn't have clothes in.

Maxy i just mailed you to thank you for sandals too! lovely, as always

am huge fan of jojo suits too, i have one all ready. i wish they went up to 3/4 as i'd get one for Tate, they are so lightweight for them to get around in i don't like hugely padded snowsuits.

i was going to try those fleece lined reversible trousers for winter from jojo thought they were a bargain at £12. i should order them really to be prepared!!

nicolamumof3 · 26/08/2009 21:15

mmh i should be like that soon maybe next year, i think i saved from age 5 upwards but only really nice bits. i love buying them clothes anyway!!

i love autumn.

5inthebed · 26/08/2009 21:23

So do I Nicola. The chilly mornings, the getting wrapped up warm, the kids kicking the leaves

I bought a Boden all in one snow suit thingy off maclaren. can't wait to get it!

nicolamumof3 · 26/08/2009 21:27

oh yes the boden snowsuits are lovely really cosy and soft.

nicolamumof3 · 26/08/2009 21:29

5in im just going to list some ELC toys and also a large talking peppa pig 'george' just wondered if you might be interested?

FlyMeToDunoon · 26/08/2009 21:34

Surely George only says 'dinosaur'

5inthebed · 26/08/2009 21:34

DS2 already has loads of George toys Nicola. What ELC stuff you selling?

carrielou2007 · 26/08/2009 21:37

Evening all!!!

It's been torture, my laptop has totally died and so been using the work dongle which has not worked AT ALL for the past two nights and back too late from work to pop on internet at library (only a mile away).

I bought a gorgous coat today for dd, she had pacamacs, 3/4 lined raincoats but wanted a warm winter coat and working in Taunton today so popped into Primark . Ski-style jacket, fleece lined with great hood and pockets and it was 9 pounds!!!Just the right size, 3-4 I would say is on the small size but will be just right for dd for this winter. It took her nearly all summer to fit into her North Face (was that the name??)one, too big in winter, too small now

Nicola, have you got a pic of that snowsuit?? [email protected].

My friends's dd starts playgroup soon but dd can't start until she is 3, I'd like her to go sooner, is it the playgroup who decide what age they take them??

nicolamumof3 · 26/08/2009 21:43

i'll mail you now carrielou!!

no worries 5in..

um i got the bear where you touch his feet, tummmy, ears etc and it sings and the busy bee.

Also got vtech helicopter and treehouse and loads of bob the builder vehicles!

just undone parcels of scooby doo toys from catalogue for Tate xmas. im v.organised!!

FlyMeToDunoon · 26/08/2009 21:53

lol I remember you last year getting stuff from Boots really early.
The time has flown. I had to renew my subscription the other day to sell on here so it's just a year since I joined MN.

nicolamumof3 · 26/08/2009 21:57

you have to tho. i've nearly got everything for the boys, im going to get tate a micro scooter then i have tom to start on and he's expensive its more gadgets and clothes tho for him.

just ordered these from jojo www.jojomamanbebe.co.uk/img/pic/swatches/a8512.htm thought they were good for £12 for the park in the winter oh and 15pc off NJP82

FlyMeToDunoon · 26/08/2009 22:02

Micro scooters are great.
DDs 2 and 3 have them.
It's their b.days in September so I have that to get past first.
DD2 getting a bike.

nicolamumof3 · 26/08/2009 22:07

5inthebed · 26/08/2009 22:12
