because i used to be on pp parents panel they emailed and asked if i wanted to go. i got to test a lovely car seat out for them once and they gave it to me afterwards.

BexieID · 26/08/2009 11:42

5in, thats fine re:comfort pack thingie ma jib. Don't need it just yet, lol.

AvadaKedavra · 26/08/2009 12:02

oh make sure you get to test something nice then Nicola :D

FlyMeToDunoon · 26/08/2009 14:07

I got the link to the PP judging afternoon too and told DP about it. But when the email came to confirm my attendance he blithely said there was no way he could take time off to let me go. He had forgotten all about it.

BexieID · 26/08/2009 15:43

Toms induction at nursery was well, a bit pants. All they did was let you have a lood round then they herded you all into a room with wee kiddie seats (I sat on the floor as my big bottom would take up 2). Then the woman just did a general chat and gave us our original forms to finish filling out/check birth certificates and gave everyone their start date/group colour. Tom is in the red group and starts tomorrow. Can't spend the day shopping with MIL and SIL mow .

My DS2 starts nursery tomorrow

nicolamumof3 · 26/08/2009 17:49

DS3 starts nursery in two weeks can't wait!!

but then ds2 swaps to afternoons so i'll never be 'free'.

had a great time at product testing, was at design centre in islington pretty cool, got fed tea and cake and got to check out loads of stuff....no prams tho

hubby has banned me from selling quest too, said i'll only end up with another so i need to raise funds to buy a cheap micralite to try now.

5inthebed · 26/08/2009 17:52

Shame about the none pram testing Nicola.

Bexie and Pebs, hope your DC's first day at nursery goes ok.

Had the footmuff on the spitfire today, quite cold here today. The straps are really tight though

nicolamumof3 · 26/08/2009 18:15

really? are they not the same as xt ones?

5inthebed · 26/08/2009 19:18

The XT one attaches with velcro, this one has ties on it. I've had to adjust the straps so Sumo can fit in the pram without having to be shoehorned in

Disenchanted3 · 26/08/2009 19:19

Nicola, did you want my Maclaren bag thingy? Prefer my bagabottle so might sell it.

I'm looking for winter coats for the boys. Is there anywhere I can buy some nice ones NOT in navy?

nicolamumof3 · 26/08/2009 20:42

GAP normally do nice winter coats, boden, debenhams and Next of course are the places i look...what sizes you after?

yes please to bag how much?

5inthebed · 26/08/2009 20:45

Erm, size 12-18 months, 4-5 years and I think DS1 will need either 7-8 or even an 8-9 years.

Just same what I paid. £15 posted. Will try post tomorrow, if not, it'll be Monday. Is that ok?
