I just want something at a cheap 'try it' price as it's been a while

an't apply any more pressure other than going down there and banging on her door.

I'e told her local police station about it and shes still not sending it!

5inthebed · 06/08/2009 10:19

Oh pretty SK. But what pram would it look good on?

Do you know why it has taken her so long Dis? I know you've had prblems with her before haven't you?

Disenchanted3 · 06/08/2009 10:22

Her daughter is ill,

I understand that, but she just says its beeing dropped off at depo... then ill hear nothing for 4 days then 'its being dropped off tomorrow' then nothing again, no answer to txts.

Her phone rings but wont answer

she txt and admitted she wont answer phone to me

FlyMeToDunoon · 06/08/2009 10:23

Morning all.
Ninja I am glad you have found a cosytoes and that is a good price
Dis I am really horrified by the situation with LL. I can't imagine what is going on. Even if she was ill or had computer trouble surely she could just let you know.

FlyMeToDunoon · 06/08/2009 10:25

Her daughter is ill that is sad. But just refund.

scattykatty · 06/08/2009 10:25

OMG you've already told her local police and she still hasn't done anything! I would have had a heart attack if that had happened to be and taken it straight round by hand!

Her DD is ill which is terrible but in the time it took to send you the texts saying that she could have arranged for it to have been picked up, then she would get you off her back and be able to look after her child.

It really is sounding fishy

Disenchanted3 · 06/08/2009 10:27

Her dad is now staying with hera nd he drives so I don't see why he can't just take it to the depot?

She said he would 'try' but its been a long time and surely a 30 min journey is nothing!

nicolamumof3 · 06/08/2009 10:27

It certainly is v.strange. why not just send or refund. i don't think she has it tbh.

nicolamumof3 · 06/08/2009 10:28

where does she live? i think my DH would be paying a visit if that was me, was it alot of money?

Disenchanted3 · 06/08/2009 10:30

Yes I called her police station 2 nights ago because I was just sick of her ignoring me after 4 days of nothing. She replied to that txt! saying that she would get it to depot next day but nothing again.

Id crap myself too! I felt awful on the phone and had a bit of a wibble after but Im just trying to get my buggy, nothing at all will come of it if she just send me (and thereisalight - who bought cam for £240) the buggy!

Disenchanted3 · 06/08/2009 10:31

No not alot of money £90, he can't pay a visit as she literally the other side of the country to me!

Believe me if it was anywhere local I would have gone weeks ago.

Im not sure she has it either

Disenchanted3 · 06/08/2009 10:33

I've asked on for sale if anyone lives near (Exter) but even if they are Im not sure they would want to get involved.

My BIL is on holiday near her now but I don't know if sending him round would be best, it might look like Im sending the heavies in iykwim?!

scattykatty · 06/08/2009 10:43

I think she has either spent the money and wants to keep the buggy or has sold the buggy somewhere else and can't afford the refund so is stalling til she has it. Either way it's totally unaccceptable what she has done. If I was near Exeter I'd do and give her a piece of my mind

Poor Cam person £240 down the drain

Did you manage to sell your Cam Dis? I saw it on ebay for £599 which would help the new puppy fund nicely

Disenchanted3 · 06/08/2009 10:45

I sold it for £400 plus courrier

Im collecting pup on Sunday, shes a little darling so that will cheer me up!

nicolamumof3 · 06/08/2009 10:47

you need to put a thread up for LL on feedback to warn others.

what did police say?

Disenchanted3 · 06/08/2009 10:49

They just took my details, her details, gave me a logg number and she said she would talk to supervisor to see if they needed to contact my police station first as its a Manchester based complaint.

But she didn't actually say if they would go to her or anything like that.

But they have her name, address, phone number and email.

I think the cam lady reported her too so they may go round?

Disenchanted3 · 06/08/2009 10:49

Wheres the feedback bit?

nicolamumof3 · 06/08/2009 10:52

i'd ring them dis and see what they are doing about it? i too think she has sold it but has no money to refund you and is stalling.

Just waiting for my washing to finish then off to p.o (AGAIN!)

no one want my purple comfort pack before i go??!

5inthebed · 06/08/2009 10:57

S if her daughter is ill (hope she isn't too ill) and she can't go out, why not arrange a courier to collect it? That is shocking Dis! I don't blame you for contacting police. I would have done the same.

NormaSknockers · 06/08/2009 11:02

At thia stage there may not be a great deal the police can do. Of course if she doesn't send it & you can prove she has your money and the MB then you may be able to go down the fraud route possibly.

It would be a civil matter either way so if things got hairy there's always the SCC but that may be more trouble (and money) then it's worth.

EyeballsintheSky · 06/08/2009 11:18

Sorry to barge in but I lurk here as I'm a closet pushchair freak and am shocked. I would send her an email/text and say that as it seems to be a problem for her to courier it, your BIL will be round on such and such a day to pick up the buggy. I don't think I'd even specify a time so that she can't arrange to be out. That's assuming he's willing.

Disenchanted3 · 06/08/2009 11:33

I can't get hold of BIL apparantly hes gone AWOL and my sis doesn't even know where he is (its her ex)

Shes just txted and her DD is in hospital, thats why she hasnt been home, but her dad drives and surely it would be better to just take both buggies to the depot to end it all?

5inthebed · 06/08/2009 11:49

Poor LL's daughter, I hope she gets out soon.

Maybe she hasn't packaged them up Dis? No excuse of course, as she should have sent them well before now, but maybe that is why they can't be sent now?

Disenchanted3 · 06/08/2009 11:54

She said they are packaged as her friend took it to post 2 weeks ago, so must be wrapped up?

carrielou2007 · 06/08/2009 11:55

I think there is more to this, if it were me and my dd was ill the last bloody thing on my mind would be a buggy and I would use the 30 seconds it takes to refund payment then concentrate on my daughter. If the money has then been spent on other stuff or transferred to bank account etc then why not say?

Dis I will glady drive there (it's 62 miles) but I don't have the 4 by 4 now and I can't get 2 buggies in the car and I would need it in the box as I have nothing. I don't mean to be rude though as I don't want to get involved, I will happily collect it no worries if she will be there for me to get it, she doesn't have to speak to me but I will have a 2 year old in the car so I just want to be a bit cautious iykwim??
