I just want something at a cheap 'try it' price as it's been a while

Thankyou carrie, someone closer has emailed me but it just depends on whether LL allows her to collect it.

She has offered a refund, but TBH she would have to go to the bank to put the money in so why not just post the buggy? And I want to hold out for the buggy because I have no idea how long it will take her to refund and id rather just have the buggy.

mumofdjandbabies · 06/08/2009 12:00

thanks nic buggyg board came

off to try it in a bit

ps, sorry to hear youve still not got your buggy dis

5inthebed · 06/08/2009 12:02

Definitely more to it. Why didn't her friend post then Dis if she took them to the post office? Odd.

Disenchanted3 · 06/08/2009 12:06

Thats what I thought 5in, if her mate already went to the PO to post the fleeces why not take the buggies and post PF?

This friend drives as shes mentioned her as the one who was dropping the buggies off at depot several times.

Im sorry to say this but, although Im very sure that her daughter is ill and in hospital, im not sure if all this about her mate takling buggy and going awol for 5 days, dad dropping of at depot etc is true.

I had this last time with the cam and bee when she said DHL had collected but i spoke to 3 people including a manager who insisted nothing had come from her adress at all, yet she said that DHL had collected it, trashed the box and returned to her

NormaSknockers · 06/08/2009 12:10

Have to agree with Carrie, the last thing on my mind would be arranging a courier etc so I would have just issued a refund immediately & left it at that. Obviously if her DD is ill & in hospital then that's awful but why keep saying 'It's going to be dropped off today' It's being collevected a week on Tuesday' etc etc, seems a little odd.

DH is at work at the min but when he gets home tonight I'll have a word & see where you stand legally & what routes you can go down if you don't hear anything.

Disenchanted3 · 06/08/2009 12:15

I know its not going to be a priority, i totally understand that, but several times shes told me driving family members are dropping it off at depot,

why say that if they aren't?

Im so fed up, mIm honestly really stressed out.

Im totally trapped.

sweetkitty · 06/08/2009 12:20

Dis - what a complete and utter palaver, poor you hope you get it sorted soon, which kind of puppy are you getting? I would love a dog but have 3 kids and 3 cats and think thats enough for now, maybe once the DDs are a bit bigger.

I really cannot decide what to do re prams, I have the Maclaren XT which is old but still in good condition and is good for an emergency pram and out the garden, the Lunamix which I like but it has it faults and I preferred the pink covers wish I hadn't of sold the Luna now and the Infinity which I do like but is a bit impractical but is a nice walking pram. One needs to go but which one????? it makes my head hurt.

5inthebed · 06/08/2009 12:25

Well I need a pram, and I need one soon!

BJCM getting collected today, and just sold Mutsy .

I was thinking of getting a Bee, and just having the one pram? Would a Bee do me for everyday use?

Disenchanted3 · 06/08/2009 12:25

Im considering asking the lady to go at a random ime and not teling LL.

but then it may be a wasted journey for her which I would feel awful about

this is my puppy, 8 week old pug bitch

5inthebed · 06/08/2009 12:32

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

I've always wanted a pug . She is gorgeous Dis, when do you get her or do yu have her already? Mymams friend has a pug, and his name is Ugly

Disenchanted3 · 06/08/2009 12:35

My mum has a 6yr pug dog, Rags.

Shes getting here Sunday, or maybe tomorrow deoending on when I can get a lift

Can't think of a name ... her KC name is Milly Mae, but not keen on that.

FlyMeToDunoon · 06/08/2009 12:48

We had a pug when I was about 10. He was called Algy after the pug in Rupert the bear.
My mum always said if she had a girl one she would call her Pansy because of the flat face with the black centre.

claret1980 · 06/08/2009 12:53

Oh Dis, I hope you get your buggy delivered soon. When I was buying her Britax off her a few months back she dragged her heels and I was waiting for a week. I know that her daughter is ill now so that can't be easy. I don't know why she has no paypal. Surely it would be easier with all the buying and selling she does to have a paypal account.

carrielou2007 · 06/08/2009 13:05

I remember now, it's bank transfer, forgot it was not pp.

Just got excited at a knock on the door but it was postman with parcel not a buggy. My kitchen diner is at the front so I can't just keep looking out the window for a DHL van .

First load of washing nearly dry ready to put next lot out and now it is spitting with rain - grr.

sweetkitty · 06/08/2009 13:08

Dis - that wee puppy is gorgeous she will cheer you up for sure

NormaSknockers · 06/08/2009 13:13

5in can't believe you parted with your BJCM

Hope it gets sorted Dis one way or another hope the other lady who bought the Bug gets the pram/money back too Have you reported LL to MNHQ as yet? Might be an idea?

nicolamumof3 · 06/08/2009 13:47

5in don't get a bee, they are tiny and not so good quality imo. what about spitfire?

pebbles79 · 06/08/2009 13:48

I love my Bee!! Great for pimping too.

OP posts:
carrielou2007 · 06/08/2009 14:11

The pliko is here!! Impressed with parcel2go, pickup up yest, just arrived and that was on their economy 7.92 service!!

It's lovely, no scratches at all to the black frame, wheels in great condition, no holes in basket. Fabrics in good condition, will sponge and fabreeze them later with apron and raincover. Heavy though, will defo use whilst in pram mode then think will switch back to the black xt at about 6/7 months.

I am watching a purple one on ebay so if I win it (local-ish to me) Bexie you can have it for same super cheap price. Have to say I am very impressed with it though !!

nicolamumof3 · 06/08/2009 14:19

oooh delicious! my fave pramette that is!

5inthebed · 06/08/2009 15:23

Still waiting for peopl to pay me . I could take money from my bank account to pay for the spitfire, but really dont want to!

Norma, I miss it already! I nearly didn't hand it to DHL bloke. But it served it's purpose, which was to be a pram to use t take DS2 to nursery in the afternoon when I couldn't guarantee the bus to be a low liner. I've never been a three wheeler fan, but I must say, that has been one of the best pram I've owned.

I can never understand why people don't pay for Ebay items either straight away or a few hours after, especially if you snipe or BIN!

FlyMeToDunoon · 06/08/2009 16:01

Just back from taking DD2 for her hearing app at the ENT at hospital. She is recommended for grommets and poss adenoids out too.
3 month wait though.
DP going to see if he can get a private op with his work scheme.

basl · 06/08/2009 16:28

norma how are you getting on with the bjcm. I wish i had kept mine but really want to keep the elite and get a new bjcm or maybe xlr or even pulse. Anyway had my first puncture but really glad i have the elite now.

FlyMeToDunoon · 06/08/2009 16:38

The Infinity is gone and now it's just an empty space I don't miss it.
I regret not enjoying the handle bar cover and cosytoes for longer though. Never even went out with the cosytoes. Wow the thought of cosytoes today when it's soooo hot is stifling.
Got all my fabric out and am going to make a nice liner for XT.
It's been picked up so maybe come on Monday.

Divatheshopaholic · 06/08/2009 16:43
