FlyMeToDunoon · 11/08/2009 21:12

Oooh scatty where are you?
In Germany or [hopeful] Kent?

JigglyPiggy · 11/08/2009 21:14

its in site stuff, im surprised dis let me back in as she ran off to look the pushchair shed

FlyMeToDunoon · 11/08/2009 21:15

Buyer has offerred me £7.20 to bin my black Mac comfort pack inc post. Is that good? I can't find any on completed listings.

scattykatty · 11/08/2009 21:16

I had a Mamas and Papas Bears and Buds one and it drove me mad! Actually I still have it cos I've been too scared to use the TT... My DH is an engineer in the army and told me it was perfect and I was insane but I worried myself looking at the tiny bit of screw

What if I sent it to you and then it did actually fall down! OMG the guilt would kill me! I'll ask DH when he comes home on Friday to have a really good look and see if he thinks it's 100% safe and i'll let you know You do deserve somthing good to happen.

Disenchanted3 · 11/08/2009 21:16

I thought .... 'outsiders' would be trying to get in

Disenchanted3 · 11/08/2009 21:18

Would be great scatty, DH is a bit of a carpeter so he would sort it no probs lemme know

scattykatty · 11/08/2009 21:20

FMTD I'm back in Wilts now... I hate it here

JigglyPiggy · 11/08/2009 21:21

oh no scatty why do you hate it?

FlyMeToDunoon · 11/08/2009 21:26

Oh jiggly I am impressed by your vigorous defense of us pram huns enthusiasts.
I do actually agree with what you were saying and there have been times when other MNetters have made it obvious that they regard regulars on this thread with less than respect.
However I too tend to use the term Pram Hun with my tongue in my cheek.

FlyMeToDunoon · 11/08/2009 21:29

Yes what is to hate about Wiltshire? Not that I know much about it. Have driven past Stonhenge.

scattykatty · 11/08/2009 21:29

Cos there is nothing in the hamlet literally where we live and my DH is now on a course somewhere else during the week so I'm really lonely

I miss Germany where I had my friends, shops, nice food and a beautiful house. Cry.

FlyMeToDunoon · 11/08/2009 21:31

Is he in the forces?
Never mind you have us

FlyMeToDunoon · 11/08/2009 21:34

So is £5 a good price for a black mac comfort pack + 2.20 postage?
Huh
Huh
Huh???

scattykatty · 11/08/2009 21:35

Yep he is. I just hate that feeling of being trapped in the house after 6 cos DS needs to be in bed.

scattykatty · 11/08/2009 21:39

Tripp Trapp

JigglyPiggy · 11/08/2009 21:39

tis a shame that there is that negative attitude though. i dont tend to use the hun word but have a rl friend who uses it loads but it takes the shine of her sweetness now as it makes me think of the putdowns ive seen on here over the years.

anyway we all have our little quirks and its only fair to respect ours or else i might start suggesting gracos to people in future!

have you been there long scatty? I am in hants so have an idea of what living in the sticks is like!

JigglyPiggy · 11/08/2009 21:42

dont know about comfort pack as know nothing about macs, does that mean im only half a hun?!

Disenchanted3 · 11/08/2009 21:43

oooh its lovely! Matches my kitchen

That wouldn't worry me, i bet it could be tightened up.

scattykatty · 11/08/2009 21:44

Been here 7 months, been the worst 7 of my life. Fact. It's forced to be online shop for things I didn't really need like red TT's and Quinny Zapp Iron's......

JigglyPiggy · 11/08/2009 21:48

oh scatty
if he is forces is there the chance of moving on again soon? or a return to germany?

ok I have my 'D' hat on, what is a tripp trapp? its a lovely colour but what is it for?

scattykatty · 11/08/2009 21:48

My kitchen is red too! Red 'Kitchenaid' mixer, blender and food processor...red 'Dualit' toaster and matching kettle I love red! Even my bugaboo is red and black

FlyMeToDunoon · 11/08/2009 21:48

I'm in line after Dis!
Fab.
Jiggly when I first arrived in da shed the other huns were discussing the width and depth of maclaren seats
I am not a fully fledged member yet myself.
Where is Nicola when you need her. She is Mrs Maclaren. Hope she didn't get eaten by a lion at the safari park.

scattykatty · 11/08/2009 21:52

OMG I though 'hun' was like 'honey' am I totally wrong???

Tripp Trapp is a Stokke highchair, all wood ect can be used up to 14 I'm told. I cannot wait for my new one to come so DS can use it

Jiggly we'll be moving next June....no idea where yet!

5inthebed · 11/08/2009 21:54

Dunoon, you're only a fully fledged pram hun until you've had over 10 prams

£7.20 is a silly price for a mac pack. You want at least £10!

Took spitfire out today, it's a lovely push. I definitely prefer foam handles on my mac
