We currently have a second hand Mamas and Papas Ocarro and there’s lots I like about it but bits keep breaking and I’m wondering if I should get something different this time as it’s SO heavy.

Hoping someone can recommend one that is a bit lighter weight, good sturdy wheels (I walk a lot and know the little plastic wheels won’t last), bonus points for something which is parent facing. DS is 6 months old so we’ve still a long way to go with a pram yet. Decent basket a must and able to push one handed while I carry a scooter DS1 insisted he would ride

I would advise on avoiding Nuna Mixx, we have it and whilst it glides beautifully the gap between the wheel and mud flap is so small it’s constantly getting clogged. Something to look for on other brands too, no mud flap would be much better.

Thanks that’s a good tip!

The Bugaboo Bee lasted us six years and two kids and was still in pretty good shape by the end!

Uppababy vista. I had this with my second and it was amazing.

I walk lots and it was so easy to push. Great with a buggy board as well. The basket is HUGE, could fit a decent shop in there.

Can be a double if needed and very easy to switch between single and double. Option for parent facing and outward facing.
