My baby is 4 months old and getting bored laying in his bassinet -he loves looking around. He is very happy in the car seat being pushed around in the pram, but I know that’s not good for long periods. My pram only has outward facing, i keep reading this can be too over stimulating? Is this true, I do feel like he loves to smile and look at me and worried I won’t be able to soothe him if he gets fussy.

He will be fine. Mine forward faced from 4 weeks. You have ears and eyes and can chat as you go. Remember they're with you the other 22hrs a day.

Mine were always being coo-ed over by old people and "chatting" in queues while I got organised.

I don’t think it’s an issue. We had the YoYo which only faces forward. Apparently so does almost everyone else in SW London. Pretty sure I haven’t missed an epidemic of overstimulated babies/toddler/preschoolers.

If you do want a pram that faces both ways, the Cybex eezy twist can parent face. We bought it to take our 5 month old on holiday and it's still going strong 3 years later.
