Double buggy or single buggy and buggy board?

Hi,
Just looking to see if anyone finds the Joie Evalite okay on buses? We've recently moved home a little further from my eldests school.

I've got 4 little ones, 2 eldest are in primary school and we have to get the bus of a morning.
My two younger ones are 1 and 2, I'm not sure if the easier way is baby in the carrier, toddler in the buggy, or a buggy and a buggy board?
It's about a 15 minute walk either side of the bus journey to get to the bus/to the school.

I'm thinking about the rainy/winter weather too with baby in the carrier?

Anyone got any idea what they found easier/best for bus journeys?

TIA x

Double buggy might be quite tight on the bus so I think I’d go with a compact single and the buggy board. You’d probably get value out of a double when you’re out all day, especially if your 2YO still naps, but I wouldn’t want to be using it for the school run on the bus if I could avoid.
