Expecting first baby end of August, gone DEEP into mind bending pram/pushchair, wth-is-a-travel-system-and-do-I-need-one research...
Think I may have found my ideal in the Leclerc Influencer XL because it's light, compact, apparently folds and unfolds easily one-handed (all on my list because I live in a very hilly part of London, in a small flat) but also ticks my box (compared to likes of the YoYo) of being suitable as well for rougher ground - according to the marketing anyway, the XL version "is ideal for travel, nature walks, and terrain experiences thanks to its larger wheels, higher frame".
My thinking was to get it with the bassinet (eyeing a couple of seconnd hand ones) to use as hopefully only pram/pushchair from birth (or at least just augmented by something cheap/second hand when really needed?!)
But so far only seen it online and no idea if this is a good strategy - would appreciate any experiences of actually using it/regrets etc!
I do drive so it would be sometimes going in the boot but picturing being more often on foot and using public transport sometimes (it's also weird trying to envisage a life you don't yet have with a baby whose preferences you don't know yet!) And though it's urban, there are woods near us and like getting out for walks hence wanting the 'terrain' suitability.
Thanks for any thoughts or other suggestions. Was also wondering about Nuna Triv Next...it's a bit bulkier and heavier but maybe other things balance that...
