Best travel system for dog walks and city use

Hi all!

I'm expecting my first baby in August and starting the search for the right pram. I'm so overwhelmed by choice!

We live just outside of London in the countryside, so ideally I want something that works for both getting into town and dog walks...

The things that are important to me are that the pram is lighter (11-12kg) and easy to fold - loved how easy it was to fold the Mamas and Papas Flip XT3 - as well as having all-terrain wheels - like the look of the large, rubber ones they have on the Cybex Balios and Priam.

Open to buying secondhand as much as new - we couldn't afford a full new Bugaboo travel system for instance!

Does anyone have a pram or recommend one that could work for us? I'm so scared to invest in something that isn't right for us!

Thanks so much!

Years ago I had a Mountain Buggy Urban. It was fantastic. It went through and over anything on a walk provided you could walk through - it went through mud and grass up to the axle, it would bump its way happily over rough terrain with no issues. When DS was older he used to love being bumped down steps without the pushchair being carefully lowered. It was also very easy to use in the city - it had a really tight turning capability and you only needed one hand to steer at any time.

It was quite long when folded, but this wasn't a problem, and if packing room was tight you could easily take the wheels off so it packed flat.

Whilst it wasn't the lightest, I never needed anything else and the weight was never an issue even when I was on my own with DS and the dog.
