Strollers for older toddlers - help!

Stroller recommendations please! Nothing too pricey as we won’t be using it for long.

We’ve had the M&P Ocarro for our 2.5yr old since birth and we love it, but he’s outgrowing it rapidly and is too tall for it, and we’re not quite ready to not have a stroller just yet for long days out etc. We walk a lot and the distances we do he wouldn’t manage all the time. So we’re looking for a stroller which will fit him as he gets bigger.

The Ocarro is also quite big and heavy when folded so we’re hoping the next one won’t be and we can get some boot space back. But that’s not a deal breaker as we’ve managed this far with the Ocarro.

It needs to do well on multi-terrain as we do a lot of countryside walking.

To collapse it ideally should fold over in half (like the Ocarro) rather than longways if that makes sense - we’ve had a Joie stroller second hand for holidays and it folds longways and it’s too long to fit in the boot! My mum has a very old Baby Jogger GT mini and that’s perfect but she’s not in the position to let us have it long term and they’re pricey new and I haven’t managed to find any second hand in our area.

I’ve seen so many online and they all have mixed reviews and I can’t find anywhere to go and see some of them in person, so recommendations greatly appreciated! Main thing is it will fit him in it for another year so suitable for older toddlers/preschoolers, folds in half and not longways and the wheels are good for different terrains.

Thanks in advance!

I've got the Hauck sport. It folds in half like you wanted and it's easy to use. Was about £55 brand new

We have the Silver Cross clic but I've seen very similar versions of it from other branda which would be cheaper. It's good on all terrains and suitable to age 4 and most importantly for us it folds up small into a square shape. It can even fit in the footwells.
