29 month age gap

Hey , just curious to know what others think of our situation
time our second baby comes our first born will be 29 months old.
she’s been walking since 11 months and is a great walker however we do use the pram for long days out or for when we go to places we know will be busy like the market ect as she’s a runner and refuses to hold hands
do I buy a double buggy ? I’m afraid we’ll spend a fortune on it and not use it and also worried about not fitting through doors ect
or do I try a buggy board? I’m having a c section so baby carrying isn’t really an option for me as I’ll be healing for 6 weeks and will want to get out the house whilst I do heal.
does any one else have the same age gap and would love to hear what yous did in regards to prams

I got a Phil and Ted's double secondhand with a similar age gap. Cost about £60. Better for longer trips out than a buggy board as both can be strapped in, easier to push, and both can nap in it. Takes up the same amount of space as a big pram, so sometimes it was a bit big for small shops or crowded buses, but fine going through doors.

We had a smaller single plus buggy board when eldest was older and had dropped her nap. But we got a lot of use out of the double and managed to sell it on.
