Double pram recommendations

Hi all just after your pram recommendations. Will have a two year age gap and ideally need a double pram / don’t think my oldest will tolerate a board etc for a few months.
I’ve been eyeing up double icandy peach and toyed with the idea of side by side. Only thing with a tandem is I need my toddler sat at the front facing out or she’ll lose it 😂
thanks so much

Out and about double. Lighter than my mamas and papas occaro single pram. We have the same age gap and it's great, lays totally flat for baby. Only thing to consider which noone warned me about is that side by side is a pain in the ass when the baby starts winding up the toddler and then the toddler retaliates...

Thanks will have a look!
as baby number 2 isn’t born yet I’ve got very deluded ideas of them sitting side by side, holding hands and keeping each other entertained.. don’t think I’m quite going into this with my eyes open 😅

We have the baby jogger city mini 2 and I love it. I looked at so many double buggies. I wanted a side by side as I don't like one behind/underneath
it's so narrow, folds down so small and is lovely to push

Out and about double for sure. Or the mountain buggy duet

Mine do hold hands sometimes, but it's mostly the toddler trying to stop the baby grabbing him 😂 snacks are your friend, just make sure they are peckish when you put them in and then shovel food at them! We're coming out the other side of it now, but 9mo old baby and tired 2yr9mo toddler was harrrrrd 😅

Also be aware with a tandem, they can still wind each other up.

The baby kept poking the toddler so I switched to a Phil and Ted's. The baby had to be on the bottom seat as the toddler was too big and so the baby kept kicking the toddler on the back/bum.

So, went back to the side by side and ended up reclining the one that was pestering the other so they couldn't reach.

A friend of mine managed to fashion a plastic barrier between.her two.on the side by side.

I just had a side by side reclining buggy, worked fine from 3 months, I used a sling prior with toddler in a single. It eg to buy second hand as you may not use it for that long though I did for 2 years to save my sanity. Yes they wound each other up and toddler tried to feed baby inappropriate snacks but all in all it is fine, only a short time. Mine are 2 years apart

Also definitely handy even when the older one is walking most of the time to use the seat for all the accumulated crap that babies and toddlers come with.
