Bugaboo Butterfly as everyday stroller

Hi,

I'm looking at getting a stroller for my 99th centile 13 month old. I've got my eye on the bugaboo butterfly but just wondered how people find it as every day stroller? We have the Hauck runner 2 for dog walks etc. We live in a city but the pavements aren't the smoothest.

Giving it a bump just in case ☺️

We use it all the time for our 2 year old. It's great. Very sturdy but light

@MamaBear2210T that's good to know thank you, can I ask how it handles broken pavements and cobblestone etc?

I have the dragonfly so the one up from butterfly and I love it!!!

I’m on my third Butterfly. I use it for travelling, and when we’re out in the car. The seat has a known issue with bobbling and then wearing through but Bugaboo are pretty good about it.

Its okay. My son strongly prefers the “big pram” - our iCandy - and will ask for that repeatedly every time, but it’s a lot more bulky to put in the car!

I probably wouldn’t buy it again, but it is brilliant for plane travel. It’s low to the ground for that reason, so not the most comfortable ride on cobblestones/broken pavements etc.

We use ours as our every day stroller and I love it, so I hate to say this but it’s fucking useless on cobbles. The front wheels are so small they constantly get stuck on the slightest raised bump or curb so you end up tipping it forward. Particularly annoying if you have people walking closely behind you.
Its not too bad where I live but it I regularly had to walk on cobblestone I’d probably not use it so much

@Emilywiththegreeneyes that's really good to hear thank you! I was torn between the butterfly or the joolz aer+ but think it'll be worth paying a little bit more for bigger wheels.

@YouveGotAFastCar thanks for replying!

Thank you all for your help. I think I'm going to go with the Aer+ :)
