My nearly 3 year old son (who's in process of getting an autism diagnosis) is getting too big for his pushchair and stroller.
I got a trike but he gets off and pushes it over on its side so that's no good.
I got a wagon but it's not very practical where I live and he also normally gets out and has a hissy fit when I try to fold it down.
I don't drive at the moment.
I just need ideas.
He's too heavy to carry but he can't walk distances as he has no road sense and no idea of danger.
I've looked into the special needs strollers but don't overly want to go down that route if I can help it.

So any suggestions on what I can use to get him along?
Needs to be something that he stays on and is lightweight so I can carry/ push it when he's not on it or lightweight enough for me to push it with him on.

Anything would be appreciated.
Thanks

I used what was then the top of the range McLaren until DC well over 3.

Sturdy, easy to fold and likely to be big enough

Lots still on EBay, because they last pretty well

Echoing PP I used a Maclaren for my second son until he was 3 and 9 months. He was a big lad so would be fine.for your DS
