So, we currently have:

  • Silver Cross Dream Pioneer Eclipse
  • Silver Cross Jet 3
  • A very small 2 year old!

We like to dine out a lot, both at home and on holiday, so we're looking for something that our little man is going to have the most space to nap in while we're on the go.

The issue with the Pioneer is that the seat tilts on an axis, so it doesn't lie flat. It's also too big and heavy for holidays / nipping out in the car.

The issue with the Jet is that the sitting position isn't very upright and the seat length / width aren't really big enough for our little one to lie comfortably, even though he's titchy.

Ideally, we would like to find something that meets the following:

  • Lies flat
  • Long seat when reclined
  • Upright sitting position
  • Large hood (or hood extender available)
  • Large foot muff (either included or available to purchase separately)
  • Relatively small when folded

Suggestions so far have been the Joie Litetrax and Mamas&Papas Airo. If anyone is able to make recommendations AND let me know how long the seat is when fully reclined, that would be awesome!

Thanks in advance ☺️

The only box it doesn't tick is folding up small. My requirements were the same and i couldn't find something that ticked all of them plus folded small. I didn't want to compromise on the rest.

Babyzen yoyo. Hand luggage size, my tall 4 year old can still fit in to nap travelling.

It’s super handy in restaurants also when there’s no space, as over the years we have many times been told no space for pram and we just folded and popped under table.

Its goes up to 22kg child weight also (my 4 year old is like 15kg)

Thanks so much for the suggestions!

I've just come across the Anex Air-Z which seems to been quite long when folded out and can also be reversed so that it creates a more enclosed space. I've not seen any other pushchair like it.
