Travel pram + buggy board

Hi all,

short story long, we’re going away and I’m doing a flight on my own with a 4 yr old and will be 4 month old baby (partner will already be in that states, we’re flying out to meet him and have a holiday) Our Occaro is super bulky and we’re worried about getting this in the car with all the cases etc.

We have a Joie tourist, which is okay but has never been my favourite pram! The only issue is my 4 yr old isn’t much of a walker so we’ve come to rely on the buggy board, ALOT. For the sake of my sanity I feel like we need this to get me through the airport solo without too many arguments! With the Tourist laid flat (I’ve bought a red kite snuggly or whatever it’s called to do lay flat with young baby) the buggy board doesn’t fit!!

so I’ve come to the hive mind… does anyone have experience with, or know of a small/compact travel buggy, that will be suitable for a 4 month old in lay flat that also fits a buggy board?! We have the lascal maxi but I don’t mind buying the mini if that’s all that fits!

I feel like I’m asking for a unicorn, every buggy picture I can see it looks like once laid flat it will take up the space my 4yr old would stand 🤦🏻‍♀️

Keep main seat on, and you can sling baby and put 4 year old in pram if needed (my 4 year old still fits). You can also fit car seat on and use with car seat and board easily.

I would suggest the baby in a sling/back pack type thing that you can take in the aircraft with you and the older one in the pushchair.
