Hello anyone who remembers or has one of these and can give me some advice. I have just bought one from a charity shop. It's in very good nick but the recline mechanism doesn't seem to be working and the metal part looks wrong. Pics attached. Can it be repaired? Does that metal bar need bending flatter?

Is there a Facebook group for the pram? I joined one for the Out n about nipper and it's so helpful, perhaps similar exists for Hauck.

Thanks, I'll have a look

I can't really make sense of the picture - perhaps you need to look for repair videos on YouTube and see if it makes sense in the context of those.

The stroller workshop might be able to help you, they are on YouTube. I'd guess you'd have to pay for a private consultation with them though but I don't think it's that expensive.

Thanks I had a look but the Infinity is quite an old pushchair. I just thought some old timers who had one around 2009 might still be around. I had one then but don't remember this mechanism and although I took many pushchairs to bits I really am stumped on how this works or whether I have broken it trying to get it to recline.
There is a handle at the back of seat frame. It's like a bicycle brake handle and has a wire which gets pulled as you squeeze the handle but how that reclines the frame I don't know and that metal bar looks far too bent.

Fingers crossed someone might know. I think the stroller workshop would know for sure, they do buggy repairs and have for a long time I think.

HelloHonkyTonks · 03/02/2024 19:48

Ok thanks. I'm still scrolling all their videos.

There is a youtube search function :D I don't think they will have done a video on this buggy though, I was thinking you could send them a message or look at their Patreon I think is where they have their paid options.

BertieBotts · 03/02/2024 21:03

I can't see anything on their channel relating to the buggy. I can see what you mean about the bent piece of metal though I don't really know what it joins up to. It does look damaged in some way.

I am in EU so can only see prices in € but it shows me the second cheapest subscription is €3 per month - you could pay for a single month to ask your question and then cancel if you did not need to be on there any more. https://www.patreon.com/thestrollerworkshop

So also hopeful bump for you in case any of the old time Pram Huns are still here :)
