Thule chariot as main buggy?

Hello all, hoping the buggy/bike trailer hive mind can help with a buggy Tetris question. We have a relatively tall and heavy 2 year old. We currently have a lightweight travel buggy but no main buggy. Our childminder is a 5 min ride away so I often take him on the bike, but the problem comes if the adult doing pick up doesn’t have a bike then they’ve got a toddler and a bike seat and a 15 min walk which obviously won’t work. Wondering about getting a Thule Chariot so can drop off on bike and pick up in buggy when necessary. The downsides are that there’s no indoor storage at childcare so trailer would be locked up outside all day (high theft area, but I think I’m ok with this with insurance), and a very narrow hallway at home so would probably need to either collapse at home or lock up outside overnight (but more security as we have a lockable porch area). We’d need to be able to lift it out, unfold and attach relatively easily, as well as convert to and from buggy format easily on pick up/drop off. Is this a realistic scenario? What do you do with the bike arm when it switches to buggy format? Am I missing the perfect buggy/bike/sling solution?!

We have a Chariot. The bike arm does clip onto the trailer so not a problem walking it home. However it’s big bulky and not that easy to fold down so not sure it’s your perfect solution. Can’t think of anything better though sorry

Thanks! Really helpful. Blimey not seen a bike seat buggy before, will take a look. We do use a sling sometimes but he’s getting pretty heavy and it’s a long walk…
