Weight limit on double buggy?!

Wondering if anyone has any experience of having a toddler heavier than 15kg in a double buggy and whether it wrecked it or not?! I have a 6 month old and 2 and a half year old. I hadn’t planned to get a double but my toddler really isn’t keen on the buggy board (standing or sitting) and wants to be carried so I end up carrying one and pushing the other - I don’t have the best back so need a solution! I did buy a second hand Out and About nipper double but my toddler isn’t keen on the reclined seat and the pushchair itself although easy to manoeuvre is SO bloody heavy to transport and takes up my entire boot so I’m going to get rid of it.
I’ve been looking at more compact/lightweight doubles like the Ickle bubba Venus, Hauck swift x and little monster Kuki but all have a weight limit of 15kg per seat and my toddler is already 14kg. I’m happy to pay a couple of hundred pounds hence the ones I’ve been looking at but just wondering if they’d be ok with a heavier toddler in?! Anyone tried it?!
Also heading abroad early next year so as compact as possible for travelling would be good!

I'm on holiday and using a double buggy for two 4 year olds...both well over 15kg. I have the joie one. Cheap and cheerful.
