Currently expecting second baby due in March. We have quite a big age gap so unfortunately have to start from scratch with all the gear.
With my first we had the Uppababy Vista and absolutely loved it, but I've seen they've now come out with the Ridge which as a jogging stroller looks like it might be even more robust. The main downside is that it only has world facing and no parent facing mode once baby is out of the bassinet.
We live on the outskirts of a city but with lots of rural terrain. So canal tow paths, river paths, tons on cobbled streets. With our first we didn't have a car so the Vista was a real workhorse for us. We do have a car now so I'm thinking of getting the Minu for the car or another travel stroller. The plus side of getting a minu is that we can use the same bassinet.
I guess I'm just not sure which way to go with the big stroller. On the one hand, the Vista was great the first time and it has the parent facing mode. On the other the Ridge looks even more all terrain and I could go running with it when baby is older.
Help! Think I'm leaning towards the Ridge but DH thinks the parent facing mode is quite important 🤔
