Anyone got Silver Cross Reef??

I've just bought the silver cross reef pushchair and carry cot from John lewis. A few reviews on john lewis itself made me doubt my choice as a couple of peolle said they had to replace the chassis multiple times as it kept breaking but then the rest of the reviews I found online (google, youtube) were overwhelmingly positive. Only running theme seems to be people saying it's quite heavy bit I tested it in store myself and actually thought the opposite tbh!! I am tall (5"10) and my husband is 6"1 so maybe that helps. Anyway interested in hearing your experiences as want to make sure we have made the right choice!

Yes it's hard isn't it. I liked the icandy but it was bigger and bulkier than the reef - didn't like that you couldn't fold the carrycot down at all for example. Our reef has been delivered now so we will be putting it up this week and testing around the house just to check we are happy with it so will let you know how it goes!

@Kirstymwh how have you found it? I still haven’t got it yet as my partner wants the icandy so we are still in the middle.

Yeah we like it! It looks really nice and expensive and has been easy to roll around the house. Time will tell once the baby is here I suppose as to how easy it is to push but fingers crossed no issues! Comes with a 3 yr warranty too so that's peace of mind too

I looked at the reef today in the colour stone. I absolutely loved it. Feels really good quality and easy to manouvre.
If you dont mind sharing how much did you manage to get it for? Im really considering it but not sure if its worth it?
