Recommend a lay flat pushchair?

Hi all

I am looking for a lay flat pushchair (not bassinet) that can also be used with a car seat.
Would like one with decent wheels/suspension to walk round country parks, etc and also to fold in one piece reasonably compactly.

Have been looking at the following:
Joie versatrax
Nuna mixx new
Cybex Balios a lux
Oyster3

Does anyone have these and would recommend? Or any others that would fit the bill?

Tia

Sorry don't know anything about the ones you've mentioned but I have an Icandy Lime and I love it. I used it with a maxi cosi car seat.

Thankyou @bunnyrabbitsandbutterflies that does look lovely but I think it has a bucket style seat and not a lay flat seat? Really wanted one that lays completely flat as baby is under 6 months x

Bugaboo bee has a hinged seat as opposed to a bucket style, though I believe it is being discontinued soon (so most are on sale!)
Cybex Priam also does but is very expensive. Cybex gazelle also does

Also take a look at for full-size:
Nuna triv
Mamas and papas ocarro (meant to be quite good off-road!)
Mamas and papas flip XT2/Strada
Silver Cross Dune
Maxi Cosi Leona luxe

Or ultra-compact which will probably not have as much suspension:
Cybex Eezy S Twist
Mamas and papas airo

Uppababy Cruz with the snug seat

Mountain buggy. The swift, urban and terrain all lie flat from birth in main seat of you don’t want carrycot. All can have car seat added.

RustyBear · 03/06/2023 18:45

DD has the Mamas & Papas Ocarro which has several positions, including lie-flat (though it also has a bassinet option) It’s great for rough terrains and is easy to fold compactly.

NoIncomeTaxNoVAT · 03/06/2023 18:47

Uppababy has an accessory that turns the seat into a fully 180 lie flat seat. Fits either the Vista v2 or the Cruz.

RustyBear · 03/06/2023 18:51

Should add the Ocarro can also be used with car seats - DD has a Maxi Cosi Pebble 360, but I think it’s also compatible with Cybex, Joie & Nuna seats.

We have the Balios S Lux, just the seat unit, not the carrycot. It lays really flat and seems comfortable, my little boy sleeps really well in it.

It's got really good suspension, I've even used it on cobbled streets lol. I haven't found anywhere yet that I can't push it comfortably. The basket size is great but my favourite feature is the straps, honestly if you haven't seen it in person yet, definitely go and have a look at it, the one-pull harness is a game changer.

Hope you find what you're looking for and that this has helped xx

Thanks everyone for the recommendations! I really like the look of the Balios s lux @myhappystreak, the one pull harness does look really good! Managed to have a look at it in store, my only worry is the footrest bit looked really small compared to others and I worried how long the pram would last for (size wise) once baby gets bigger? It's obviously hard to tell without seeing baby in it though! Do you see this being an issue or am I overthinking?

I have the Cybex Balios S Lux and have been so happy with it! In terms of suspension, I have pushed it’s on a loose gravel path before near me and it still went with ease. I live on the country side so our paths are not always even and this has been fine.
I also own a BMW with a misleadingly small boot and this lies flat enough that it only takes up half the floor space and can have things on top of it.
My one year old sits in this comfortably and the one pull harness is an honest game changer! It’s so much easier than having to adjust the straps all the time and I feel she is safer as I can make sure it’s nice and tight on her. 🙂
