Carrycot pushchair to fit through London bus isle

Hello,

I'm looking for recommendations of a carrycot pushchair that is slim enough to fit through a London bus isle. Only looking for secondhand/budget-ish models as we will only be using the carrycot component for 6 months once second is born! We have a good enough Silvercross Zest used for the older one already (who is 5yo so won't need anymore by the time younger one needs it).

Yesterday we picked up a secondhand Kinderkraft Moov 3in1, then realised it neither fit through the isle of the bus (as the rear wheels were too big), nor our hall! We only have 600mm width in our hall.

Thought we would try pumped up tyres for a change for an easier push on bumpy ground but, as well as it feeling sturdier than little wheels. However we can't get it into our house either, so that was no good.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Joolz Aer might fit the bill, don’t know about availability of secondhand models near you but it’s lightweight, compact, and easy to fold even with the carrycot. The suspension is pretty good for a compact folding pushchair as well.

The Bugaboo Bee fits down London bus aisles (I now just park my toddler straight in the pram bit but when I was more precious and nervous as a first time mum I'd walk her through the aisle easily).

If you already have another, sturdier pram, I'd probably suggest a more compact pram (a supercompact like a yo-yo) so you can benefit from the flexibility of them being very different, but the plus of the Bee is it fits with your £ requirements -- it's been around for so long (10+ years) that there's great bargains to be had and you can mix and match carrycots/accessories from different models/sellers. Join a Bugaboo selling group on facebook so you can check typical prices and not overpay.
