So I’m due my second baby in august and by then I will have a 20 month old too he walks pretty steady now however I’m not sure how he will be walking outside , is it worth getting a double pram just incase he gets tired sometimes or will it be a waste of nearly a grand ?!

Heck yeah, I had 2 fairly close (13mo) so my older son wasn’t walking (didn’t until 19 mo and I had a 4 year old too so needed them to be in a buggy when needed, babies don’t like to walk far at that age, get something that can also be a single if that suits but I found having one in the buggy whilst the other was having a feed helped and then they’d go for a sleep on the way home or baby in buggy toddler could walk etc

i asked a similar question a couple of weeks ago (though our older child is 3). Ended up buying a second hand Babyjogger City Mini with bassinet second hand following a recommendation on here. Already been worth every penny for nursery runs and park trips! Confident we’ll still make money when we sell it on too.

TL:DR - very useful, don’t buy brand new!

Thankyou everyone I’m definitely going to look into cheaper alternative to the one I was looking at but it seems like I definitely will get use out of it . Thankyou again !!

I have a 19 month age gap with mine and a double pushchair is essential in my opinion.
When youngest was first born he did spend most of his time in the carrier but as he got heavier it's been lovely being able to have them both strapped in. We have an out and about nipper so it can fit through most doors!

My eldest is 2.5 years old and has only just got the hang on the buggy board properly. Before she was very hit and miss as to if she wanted to get on and if she'd stay on.

Definitely worth it, it saved my life. Get a front-to-back one & not side-by-side, then you can fit through any gap in the shops.
