Alternative to Babyzen Yoyo2 for everyday use

Hi everyone

I really want a Yoyo2 because I want a small-folding, lightweight stroller that is good quality and sturdy. However, the Yoyo2 does not work with the Lascal Maxi buggy board that we already have, and I'm loathe to buy their buggy board when I already have a perfectly good one.

So - I'm looking for something similar to the Yoyo2, I don't need it for travel so it doesn't HAVE to fit into the overhead bins on a plane, but I do want to use it almost everyday so it DOES have to be sturdy and also recline so baby can nap in there (which I think most do). Cost isn't a factor, I don't mind paying for the perfect product.

I've done lots of research on alternatives already, but what's missing is people's own experiences of the real, day to day sturdiness of them.

Thanks!

Chicco goody is a decent alternative. Not sure about the buggy board.

Aww thankyou for this, it looks like a decent one but just checked, it doesn't fit the buggy board either :-(

If cost isn't a consideration then get the yoyo and their buggy board and sell the lascal one on eBay. I don't think you'll find anything better than the original yoyo for what you are after.

We have an Ergobaby Metro. Don’t know about the buggy board compatibility but it’s a great buggy alternative to a yo-yo.

I recently got rid of a Yoyo and replaced it with a Joolz Aer, which both I and the little passenger prefer by an order of magnitude. That pushchair also doesn’t work with a different brand buggy board though (Joolz does its own), and I’m not sure if there’s any similar model that does, all the folding compact pushchairs seem to be compatible only with their own board or none. I might be wrong, hopefully another poster will be along with a suggestion matching your requirements! But as far as I can tell if you’re looking at getting any ultra-compact model, you might have to think about selling in your current board and getting the matching branded one for whatever pushchair you go for.

Thanks for replies, since I wrote this thread I did a bunch of research and went for the Leclerc Influencer. I've not actually used it yet but so far the size and folding and unfolding are good. Also it works with my buggy board and comes with the raincover, bumper bar, footrest- it annoyed me that you had to buy those separately for the Yoyo so probably another reason I didn't want to buy it!
