My 8 week old hates her carrycot 🤦🏼‍♀️

Hi my little girl is 8 weeks old and has suddenly decided she hates her carrycot she will not go in it for longer than 10 mins and would prefer to be in the sling ( baby bjorn) however she’s getting heavier and I’d like her to use the pram more. We have the sliver cross reef, any tips please? Our walk today was horrendous! She cried and screamed the minute I’d try and play her in the pram, I’m guessing she is too young to use the pushchair section yet.

DD hated the carrycot too, she ended up going in the pushchair section of her seat at about 10-12 weeks. She was far happier and trips out got much easier. I kept it on the middle recline position. She just hated being lay flat on her back. Can you get an insert for the pushchair section of the reef to pad it out a little.

My dd also hated the carrycot. I think she was nosey lol as she liked being held on the bus and things. I got her a little toy to dangle from the carrycot until she could go upright. Would that help?

And then I also did what @MissRainbowBrite did. I was worried it was a bit early but it was better than her crying all the time

Thank you so much for all the ideas I’ve tried dangling toys for her she gets bored and still hates it🤦🏼‍♀️. I heard back from silver cross that said because you can lie the pushchair attachment flat it’s safe to use although the carrycot just looks safer to me until she’s a little bigger if that makes sense.I’m going to try more toys thank you , unfortunately it doesn’t come with an insert xx
