Compact stroller under £200 recommendations?

MeadowLanes · 22/10/2022 12:31

We need a compact stroller that's easy to collapse and sling in the car. Potentially for holidays too.

It would need to lie flat and ideally have a decent basket.

Do you love or hate your compact stroller and be happy to share your views?!

Thanks!

I've just bought a maxi Cosi Lara2 and so far am loving it. It has two storage baskets which basically sold it for me and has an upper weight limit of 22kg which I like as have three children under five and the oldest does still get tired on really long walks. It has a very compact one hand fold, it probably wouldn't be small enough to fit in cabin storage on a plane but as we don't fly it's not an issue for us.

Just to add, it lies flat and my tiny 11 month old (sane size as an average five month old) is very comfortable in it, as well as her tiny 2 year old brother

Hi @MeadowLanes Thanks for posting. I just wanted to pop in and share the link to our article to the best lightweight strollers. Hopefully it will be helpful as there are a couple on there which are under £200. The page was created with the help of recommendations from Mumsnet users and consumer reviews. Do let us know if you found it useful.

I looked at a John Lewis own brand one for about £65 in store this week and was very impressed.

I have both the chicco goody and Joie tourist signature, the signature is lighter and has better suspension plus I like the fact I can add carseat, the chicco goody folds up smaller though.

We have the Cybex Eezy S Twist +2 and can't recommend enough. It's not perfect but it ticked the boxes that were important to us - compact, light, good value, well made. It's not very padded so in winter you need a pramsuit or footmuff which costs extra.
