Uppababy Vista or Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle with carrycot plus

First baby is due in Feb and we live in a town in a rural area (and don't drive yet, though my parents do and live in a village nearby).
Trying to decide between the Uppababy Vista (I had initially decided on this!) and the Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle with the carrycot plus. Does anyone have experience of either?
I think the mountain buggy might be better on all terrains (plus last longer?) but am concerned that baby will outgrow the parent-facing seat by 12 months.
Any advice or insight gratefully received!

Love our Upperbaby vista v2 and highly recommend it. Great suspension and grows with your bub. The straps don't need re-threading to accommodate height growth. Lots of room under pram for storage and hidden compartments for important stuff. The way the wheels are designed is ingenious. Mobilty ease . No need to do a large turning circle like some other models. If you can get the one with the bassinet attachment, it's nice to have. Also the seat can be switched between forward and backward facing.

Another vote for the uppababy. Really loved ours.

I think the mountain buggy has I higher weight limit of the seat and not sure which has more leg room as the child grows
You would have to forward face with the mountain buggy as you wouldn't with the Vista.

We have a mountain buggy swift and at almost three it's getting a bit small and wished we had gone for the mountain UJ or terrain for longer term use as will have the nursery run until school starts. But it's been a great pushchair and I do the nursery/work walk with it 3 days a week about 3 miles.
