Uppababy Vista or Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle with carrycot plus

First baby is due in Feb and we live in a town in a rural area (and don't drive yet, though my parents do and live in a village nearby).
Trying to decide between the Uppababy Vista (I had initially decided on this!) and the Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle with the carrycot plus. Does anyone have experience of either?
I think the mountain buggy might be better on all terrains (plus last longer?) but am concerned that baby will outgrow the parent-facing seat by 12 months.
Any advice or insight gratefully received!

I got a vista for my second and I LOVE it! I wish I'd got it for my first.

You can fit so much in the basket, it's easy to push and the double configuration is really useful (if you need that)

Highly highly recommend

I live in a semi rural spot with a lot of field walking for the dog etc. I have an Uppababy Vista and it's still going strong for my DD at nearly age 3. The bassinet is also HUGE which was lovely when she was small. Really robust pram for walking with but steers like a dream on shiny supermarket floors still and a huge basket underneath. It's great. It will say that I did end up using a baby or toddler carrier a lot until she was 2, as I just prefer walking with my hands free.
