Second hand pushchair/pram resellers on Facebook Marketplace/Gumtree/etc

This might be a silly question, but does anyone know how it works that sometimes on Facebook Marketplace / Gumtree I see a single person selling several different second hand prams/pushchairs/travel systems?

Looking to buy second hand, but just not sure if I can trust this kind of seller. ^^;

I nearly got scammed by one of these people, selling a first generation as a third generation so would have been a good 8 years older than they said. It was only noticeable because of one tiny difference in the wheel. I think they are just people who buy prams that need a good clean and refresh but I wouldn't risk it again.
