Bugaboo bee help

We have a Bugaboo Bee 6 (new) and recently swapped the carry cot attachment to the regular seat. However, now the bottom part of the seat isn’t locking into place on the frame - it flaps up towards the backrest, which doesn’t seem safe for a little baby. Has anyone else had this problem and managed to fix it?

Hey, did you fix it?

If its broken it might still be under warranty?

I have a bee 5 and mine does that - it’s how you access the basket. I find it quite helpful as can get a much larger bag in that if it didn’t. It’s never been an issue for safety. When DD is in the buggy, her weight holds the seat down but I could lift the seat with her in it if I needed something in the basket. She’s 3.5 now and knows to lift her legs for me to get things in and out. I always found it quite a helpful feature.
