Parent Facing double twin pram

I've been looking online for the best twin pram and honestly can't say I'm keen on any of them.

At the time of need I will have a 1 year old & a newborn so I'm needing parenting facing carrycot which can be car seat adapted & also a normal pram chair for my 1 year old.

Also will I need a big car like a 4x4??

I bought a silver Cross wayfarer for my 19th month old and newborn. Not both parent facing but has lots of arrangements. Carry cot or car seat can go on bottom or top for new born. Toddler seat can go bottom or top, forward or parent facing. When both in toddler seats can have both facing forward or one facing parent. Has worked well for us for the last two years.

A friend with similar age gap got a double stroller and just had new born seat in fully reclined position.

Have you seen the bugaboo donkey? It's a double pram but not drastically wide. It doesn't fold down super compact but you could fit it in a family car with a decent boot (we have a skoda fabia and it fitted in the boot when we tried it) wouldn't have to be a 4x4.

We went for an uppababy vista in the end though which can be a single or double although the bassinet does have to go on the bottom.

Unclipping the wheels enables bigger prams to fit easier in a car ime. I had a Babystyle one. Like an fashioned pram but with 2 separate seats.

The bugaboo donkey that’s already been mentioned can do that. I loved mine

An SUV generally has a smaller boot than an estate. Check the boot size! But I don’t think you need one no. Uppababy or Buggaboo.

How about a baby jogger city mini or gt twin?

Can attach a carrycot and car seat with adapters.

We had the Mountain buggy duet but used the cocoons for first three months so they faced us.

Loved that buggy!

Mountain buggy worked for us. It fits in a VW/SEAT MPV and is easy to steer.

Ive got the cossato wow xl, baby faces me, toddler faces the world, fits in boot nicely, ive got a nissan juke and its a weird shape and it fits with one wheel off but i had to do the same with my single travel sytem and can be changed into so many diffrent positions with the seats (4 diffrent points the seats can go into) and can be used as a single or a double and has a built in buggy board so when toddler dosent want to be in the pushchair any more ill use it as a single and toddler can hop on the buggy board as he wants to. The basket is huge too!
