Faulty Bugaboo Fox 2 chassis

I purchased a bugaboo fox 2 from an online retailer last year. The chassis mechanism for unfolding and locking in place has become very temperamental. Has anyone else experienced this?
Bugaboo have advised me to contact the online retailer with the serial number but it looks to have rubbed off the bar. Does anyone know if this is located anywhere else on the pushchair? Annoyingly the bar is handled when folding/unfolding and so it’s inevitable that it would rub off.

That is really poor if the number has worn off. I would have thought on their website where you register the warranty it should tell you how to find the number, often they are under the chassis.

I would contact the retailer and say you can't find it. Surely if you registered the warranty they must have some log of the number somewhere alongside your other details. Do you have the receipt from purchasing it?
