Foot muffs

Hi everyone.
FTM here. I have an Uppababy Vista as my main pram which I don’t want to take on holiday with me, so I am going to purchase the Yoyo2.
However, neither come with footmuffs.
I am planning to go to Spain in April so I am assuming I’ll need one for the evening for the Yoyo as it’ll be low teens?

Baby will be just under 6 months when we go. I haven’t bought a footmuff for the Vista yet either as we’re still using the bassinet.

If I buy the two branded footmuffs we are looking at over £200. Is that worth it? Could I buy a universal black one that would fit both? If so, does anyone have any recommendations?

If anyone has any advice or feedback on the Yoyo too, that would be great. For those that holiday with it, is a travel bag a necessity?

Many universal will fit both. But the yo-yo one might be thinner so it folds with it on.

We have a fellhof sheepskin one and use in mountain buggy and the yo-yo. If I use on yo-yo I take it off to fold though.

Maybe the yo-yo will fit the uppababy vista as well?

You prob won’t need a footmuff in April in Spain though. A blanket should be fine.
I usually take our one off around April time as it’s warming up

I feel like a blanket in April would be sufficient.

For the vista generally I really rate their own footmuff the ganoush. It is pricy but I think worth it. It is suitable for something ridiculous like minus 10. My son doesn't wear a coat or extra layers in it and keeps him so warm. If you don't need the full thing on you can tuck the front flap into the bottom. It has magnetic points for around the bar too. The quality is great and its also got an extending feature so should last several years. They also have good re-sale value.

Thanks for commenting OtiMama, I don’t take much persuading and to be honest I adore the pram so trust uppababy know what they are doing. Will get one, thank you !

I had an uppababy vista and I got a universal foot muff from JL which was great - it was this one www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-partners-star-print-footmuff-grey/p5879626

Don't know if it's still the same now but last time I looked the uppababy one was hideous, all shiny and looked like a bin bag! I wasn't paying £70 for that.

I bought one second hand. My baby is almost seven months and still fits fine in the bassinet so haven't used it yet.

I think the newer UB ones aren't all shiny, we have the finn green one and it's nice and really soft inside. Longer that others I've seen.
